Join us on the island of Barra on Saturday 8th September for the second part of the Shore tour in the Screen Machine with a screening of two films by Scottish-based artists Margaret Salmon and Ed Webb-Ingall, plus share your thoughts on "how we see the sea" at our pop up stand in Bùth Bharraigh.

2pm – Shore Films at The Screen Machine

Special screening of new films by Scottish-based artists Margaret Salmon and Ed Webb-Ingall exploring the Marine Protected Areas around Arran and Wester Ross. Curated by Invisible Dust, Shore is touring Scotland to gather and share responses to MPAs in coastal communities four years after their legal designation in 2014.

11am – Sea story sharing at Bùth Bharraigh

Visit our pop-up stand in Bùth Bharraigh, the Community Local Produce Hub for Barra and Vatersay and meet Local Voices to share your thoughts and reactions as part of the Scotland-wide conversation about “how we see the sea” and the role of MPAs in preserving our endangered aquatic worlds.
